Why do so many mail servers with virus checkers send bounces back to the "sender". Given that it's now all to common for viruses to forge the From address, I get more bounces than I get viruses.

So many of these bounces either contain NO useful information, which might allow the real originator to be found, or they contain the entire email, INCLUDING the damned virus !

For what it's worth Mcafee also do this.
