Something very wrong

The is just something so very wrong with Tesco selling the paint you use on ceilings.

Oh and even worse is the way that the self service check out asked for no form of verification of who I am, I just swiped the card and that was it!

What is so sinistar about ceiling paint?

Surly you had to sign something or put your pin code in?

In Tesco, a GROCERY store !

Nope, just swipe the card.
Still not sinister. As long as you dont try and cook it like they did in Black Books

At least with Sainsburys self checkout you have to sign the pad thing that always fails to pick up a credible version of your signiture. For small ammounts it may not be worth the hassle, after all buying stuff online is much the same, you cant even proove that the person filling in the details has the card at all.
You use different paint on ceilings? Whoa.
Yeah, it's a lot thicker, so it doesn't drip on you.
When I was little, I used to think that 'hoogglans' ('high gloss') paint was for ceilings, and 'zijdeglans' (silk gloss, but 'zijde' also means 'side') was for walls.
That's one of those things that ought to be true, even if it isn't ;)
Hmm, oky, so I'm a sad person with no life and access to someone who runs the Dulux production line in Slough.... yes, apparently you can get "ceiling paint", though its less common these days since the paint you use in roller trays is just as good at not dripping. 2% more PVC apparently... ooh, fascinating!
Ooh, to make more sites for the other bits of the thiotropic mixture to stick to when they're not under shear. That's very cool.
Thixotropic, sorry. Thiotropic is probably something to do with sulphur going black.
